【摘要】:Asaresultofthemanufacturingprocess,internalstressesmaybelockedintothefilmwhichcanbereleasedbyheating.Thetemperatureatwhichshrinkagewilloccurisrelatedtotheprocessingtechniquesemployedtomanufacturethefilmandmayalsoberelatedtoaphasetransitioninthebaseresin.Themagnitudeoftheshrinkagewillvarywiththetemperatureofthefilm.Shrinkageofaparticularmaterialproducedbyaparticularprocessmaybecharacterizedbythistestmethodbymakingmeasurementsatseveraltemperaturesthroughtheshrinkagerangeofthematerial.Followingacharacterizationinaparticularcase,itisusuallysufficientthereaftertomeasureshrinkageatonlyoneselectedtemperatureforpurposesofprocessorqualitycontrol,orboth.1.1Thistestmethodcoversdeterminationofthedegreeofunrestrainedlinearthermalshrinkageatgivenspecimentemperaturesofplasticfilmandsheetingof0.76mm[0.030in.]thicknessorless.Thistestmethoddoesnotcovershrinkagefromlossofsolventinsomematerials.1.2Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note18212;ThisdocumentisnotequivalenttoISO11501.
