【摘要】:ThispartofBS8486specifiesonemeansofdeterminingcompliancewiththeprovisionsforexamination,testingandrecordingresultsfornewelectricliftsspecifiedinBSEN81-1:1998,beforebeingputintoservice.ThispartofBS8486doesnotcoverthefollowingtypesofliftorliftequipment:a)positivedriveliftsbyuseofdrumandropes;b)positivedriveliftsbyuseofsprocketandchains;c)rackandpinionliftsconformingtoDD222;d)hydraulicliftsconformingtoBSEN81-2;NOTE1HydraulicliftsarecoveredinBS8486-2.e)ProgrammableElectronicSystemsinSafetyRelatedApplicationsforLifts(PESSRAL).NOTE2Duetothevariednatureofsuchequipmentthemanufacturersofthesesystemsshouldprovidefulldetailsofthemeansbywhichitcanbetested.Sinceonsitetestingmightnotbepracticalorpossible,thismaybeverificationofdesignascertifiedbythepartyresponsibleforqualityassuranceundertheLiftsRegulations1997[1].ThispartofBS8486alsospecifiesameansofdeterminingcompliancewiththeprovisionsforexaminationandtestingofelectricliftsspecifiedin:1)BSEN81-28:2003;2)BSEN81-70:2003;3)BSEN81-71:2005;4)BSEN81-72:2003;5)BSEN81-73:2005.
