【摘要】:Thisspecificationprovidesrequirementsforchlorinatedpoly(vinylchloride)(CPVC)solventcementstobeusedinjoiningchlorinatedpoly(vinylchloride)pipe,tubing,andsocket-typefittings.CPVCsolventcementsareusedwithCPVC41chlorinatedpoly(vinylchloride)pipe,tubing,andfittings,whichmeetClass23447asdefinedinSpecificationD1784.ArecommendedprocedureforjoiningCPVCpipeandfittingsisgiveninAppendixX1.Thetextofthisspecificationreferencesnotes,footnotes,andappendixeswhichprovideexplanatorymaterial.Thesenotesandfootnotes(excludingthoseintablesandfigures)shallnotbeconsideredasrequirementsofthespecification.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thefollowingsafetyhazardscaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodsportion,Section6,ofthisspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
