【摘要】:ThispartofISO1183specifiesagradientcolumnmethodforthedeterminationofthedensityofnon-cellularmouldedorextrudedplasticsinvoid-freeform.Densitygradientcolumnsarecolumnscontainingamixtureoftwoliquids,thedensityinthecolumnincreasinguniformlyfromtoptobottom.NOTEThispartofISO1183isapplicabletopelletsaslongastheyarevoid-free.Densityisfrequentlyusedtofollowvariationsinphysicalstructureorcompositionofplasticmaterials.Densitymayalsobeusefulinassessingtheuniformityofsamplesorspecimens.Oftenthedensityofplasticmaterialswilldependuponthechoiceofspecimenpreparationmethod.Whenthisisthecase,precisedetailsofthespecimenpreparationmethodwillhavetobeincludedintheappropriatematerialspecification.
