【摘要】:1.1Theserequirementsapplytopoweroperateddispensingdevices,rated600Vacorless,forusewithfuels.Fuels,asdefinedbytheserequirements,includeoneormoreofthefuelsdescribedin1.2.1.2Dispensingdevicescoveredbytheserequirementsareintendedforusewithoneormoreofthefollowing:a)Dieselfuelanddieselfuel/biodieselblendswithnominalbiodieselconcentrationsupto5percent(B0–B5)formulatedinaccordancewiththeStandardSpecificationforDieselFuelOils,ANSI/ASTMD975.b)Diesel/biodieselblendswithnominalbiodieselconcentrationsfrom5percentupto20percent(B6–B20)formulatedinaccordancewiththeStandardSpecificationforDieselFuelOil,BiodieselBlends(B6–B20),ANSI/ASTMD7467.c)Biodiesel(B99.9/B100)formulatedinaccordancewiththeStandardSpecificationforBiodieselFuelBlendStock(B100)forMiddleDistillateFuels,ANSI/ASTMD6751.d)KeroseneformulatedinaccordancewiththeStandardSpecificationforKerosine,ANSI/ASTMD3699.e)FuelOil(heatingoil)formulatedinaccordancewiththeStandardSpecificationforFuelOils,ANSI/ASTMD396.1.3Theserequirementsmaybeusedtoevaluateindividualcomponentsofadispensingdeviceforaratingofdieselfuel,diesel/biodieselblendswithanominalbiodieselconcentrationofupto5percent,orupto20percent,orbiodiesel(B99.9/B100),kerosene,orfueloil.Thesecomponentsincludethefollowing:a)Hosenozzlevalves;b)Hoseassemblies;c)Emergencybreakawaycouplings;d)Swivelconnectors;e)Pumps;f)Meters;g)Strainers;h)Electricallyoperatedvalves(forusewithflammableliquids);i)Mechanicallyoperatedvalvesincludingshearvalves;j)Pressurereliefdevices(forusewithflammableliquids);k)Mechanicallineleakdetectors;l)Castingimpregnationmaterials;andm)Gasketsandseals.1.4RequirementsfortheinstallationanduseofdispensingdevicesareincludedintheCodeforMotorFuelDispensingFacilitiesandRepairGarages,ANSI/NFPA30A,andtheNationalElectricalCode,ANSI/NFPA70.1.5Theserequirementsapplytowiringmethodsusedtoinstallorinterconnectsuchcontrolequipmentwhentheequipmentislocateddirectlyonorwithinthehousingofthedispensingdevice.1.6Theserequirementsdonotapplytocontrolequipmentthatmayauthorize,monitor,orinterruptoperationofapower-operateddispensingdevice,norotherauxiliaryequipment.TheseproductswouldbecoveredundertheStandardforControlEquipmentforUseWithFlammableLiquidDispensingDevices,UL1238.1.7Theserequirementsdonotcoverdispensingdevicesforusewithgasolineorgasoline/ethanolblendsofanyconcentration.ThesedispensingdevicesarecoveredundertheStandardforPower-OperatedDispensingDevicesforPetroleumProducts,UL87,ortheOutlineofInvestigationforPower-OperatedDispensingDevicesforGasolineandGasoline/EthanolBlendsWithNominalConcentrationsUpto85Percent(E0–E85),UL87A.1.8TheserequirementsdonotcoverdispensingdevicesforusewithLP-Gas,whicharecoveredundertheStandardforPower-OperatedDispensingDevicesforLP-Gas,UL495.1.9Theserequirementsdonotcoverequipmentintendedfordiesel/biodieselblendswithabiodieselconcentrationbetweenB20andB99.9/B100.
